I keep thinking about that food truck list I made for Black History Month.
Not gonna lie… I thought it was going to be quick. Just a simple post: “here’s a few Black-owned food trucks in Phoenix.” Something light.
But it didn’t go like that at all.
Every time I thought I had enough, another name popped up. Another page. Another truck I hadn’t seen before. By the time I hit post, it was 28.
Since then? I’m at 29. And I still feel like there are more out there.
This isn’t just a list. This is a scene. A whole vibe of Black-owned food trucks moving around the Valley, serving up good food, community energy, and straight-up hustle wherever they park.
Food trucks aren’t easy. No storefronts, no built-in foot traffic, no luxury of people just walking in. You have to be found. You have to show up. Post your location. Cook. Take orders. Run your page. And somehow still make the food hit. Every single time.
And somehow… these owners are out here doing it consistently. That’s the kind of grind that deserves to be seen.
So here’s the list of Black-owned food trucks in Phoenix and the Valley that you need to know—all 29 of them:

And if I missed one, send it my way. This list isn’t finished—and honestly, I’m okay with that. Because our community and our food are bigger than a single list.
